This door lock actuator is a direct replacement for Genuine Part Number Reference: 7L0839016E. Also known as a door catch, door latch, central locking motor or door lock mechanism, it is the complete right rear, drivers side door lock assembly with the actuator motor, microswitches and child safety lever built in, and uses a 7 pin connector. Replacing a failed lock cures a rear door that will not open from either handle, central locking that skips one door, and interior light or alarm faults caused by a false door-open signal.
